Secure networks by day.
Curious builder by night.

I'm Miguel Collins — a Los Angeles IT professional with 20+ years architecting networks and leading firewall migrations, now teaching myself AI and social-media automation through Shineharder. If you're hiring, collaborating, or just curious, you're in the right place.

What I do

Two disciplines, one way of thinking

Whether it's a firewall migration or an AI automation experiment, the approach is the same: understand the system, plan the path, ship it clean.

Firewall & network security

Cisco NextGen firewall migrations, VPN and external-access policy, DNS and SMTP infrastructure — secured across on-premise, cloud, and partner networks.

IT infrastructure & leadership

Planning, directing, and supervising complex migrations: scope, budgets, resourcing, long-range strategy, and the training that makes teams self-sufficient.

AI, automation & design

Shineharder is where I vibe-code with AI, automate social media, and design UI — a working lab for turning new tools into shipped experiments.

Featured project

Shineharder

A vertical social-media studio where I teach myself in public — AI vibe-coding, content automation, and design across tattoos, graffiti, and (soon) health. It's my sandbox for turning curiosity into shipped, working things.

  • AI vibe-coding and content automation, learned in public
  • Design and UI work across each vertical brand
  • A space to teach myself new tools by shipping them
